High School Day Celebration

    The IIocos Sur National High School is in the Philippines. It was established in 1993, and has a high standard of education for students of all ages and stages of life. The first batch of students to finish high school after the war graduated in 1946.     The high school day of Ilocos Sur National High School is celebrated during the month of March and the date of 1 and 2. This school year marks its 118th High School Day celebration.     In the first day, March 1, the coronation was held wherein there is a search for the Mr. and Ms. ISNHS and they were given crowns, sash, trophies, and bouquets as gratitude.     In the second day of the celebration, March 2, the parade done at morning and they tour around Vigan City, to showcased their costumes and other props. Essence of Christmas

     The  origin  of this practice is a little obscure. However, it's believed that an English admiral first used the term  Merry Christmas  in an informal letter, way back in 1699. In the same era, the phrase was used in non-religious  Christmas  song 'We wish you a  Merry Christmas ', which is still popular today.        Christmas  is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name ' Christmas ' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.    The  Christmas  gift reminds us of how God gave us the gift of His Son and that Jesus Christ gave us the greatest gift of all.
